Chaotic Resolution: Unveiling the Secrets of Effective Project Management

Welcome to my project management journey!

My name is Erik Goulding and over the past 5 years, I have had the privilege of working within an array of roles; Biomedical Manufacturing Technician, Factory Engineer, Automation Project Engineer, Program Manager and now a New Product Introduction Project Manager. Through the course of those 5 years, I have navigated through the highs and lows of various projects and have learned valuable lessons along the way. 

However, my journey hasn't been without its challenges. Throughout my tenure, I have been exposed to numerous instances of poor processes, inefficiencies, and roadblocks that have hindered project success. I have also witnessed and been part of triumphs, early milestone achievements and positive shifts in the mindset of a project team due to the joy of achieving something together as a group. 

Despite these obstacles, I have remained steadfast in my commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in project management. Each setback has served as a valuable learning opportunity, pushing me to seek out better practices, re-design the wheel to suit my needs, refine my skills, and advocate for positive change within my profession and organization. 

In the initial stages of this blog, I will be sharing my insights from my project management journey, drawing from experiences, observations and lessons learned. My goal is to provide fellow project managers with practical advice, actionable tips, and strategies for overcoming common challenges and achieving project success in the face of adversity.
